In the sacred town of Liska, renowned as one of the holiest places in the world, the profound prayers recited at the tomb of the esteemed tzadik, Rebbe Hershele Lisker zt"l, resonate with deep significance.

Rebbe Hershele Lisker (רבי הערשעלע ליסקער), who is also known as Zvi Hirsh Friedmann (צבי הירש פרידמאן) and the respected author of Ach Pri Tevu'ah (אך פרי תבואה), remains a significant figure among Hasidic leaders, with his teachings influencing followers even today The Rebbe’s deep Torah knowledge and Hasidic wisdom were shaped by his time as a disciple of the famous Teitelbaum Moshe zt"l (משה טייטלבוים זצ״ל), also known as the Yismach Moshe (ישמח משה). This bond between disciple and teacher continues to thrive in Hasidic circles, especially among the Satmar community, which honors the memories of both Teitelbaum and Rebbe Hershele Lisker.
